Piqué with en cloche

I love piqué because, if done correctly, the dancer can really get into their deep 6 and inner thighs.

Notes:

  • Try to avoid using the hip flexor for this combo. If you feel your hip flexors kick in, bring the triple pique down to a clean double.

  • En cloche should be relaxed and should utilize the foot pointing and brushing to move the leg. Try to feel the hip relax so the leg can swing.

From 1st, one hand on the barre.

1-2: 2 degagé

3-4: triple piqué point

5: cloche back

6: piqué

7-8: close back

reverse from back

to the side:

1-2: 2 degagé side

3: piqué side

5: close 5th front

5-6: 2 degagé side

7: piqué side

8: close 5th back

&: degagé back

1-6: 6 en cloche

7: close back

8: hold

reverse whole combo from the back.
